Creative Workshops February – April 2025

Choose from the following facilitated creative workshops at Sheena Mathieson's home studio. These are smallish groups (no more than 6 in each group) run in a relaxed, fun way.

Concession $50 per person, otherwise $65 per person.

Playful, intuitive printmaking with watercolour (and mixed media).

Using recycled materials, watercolours and other media you will create a series of playful works on quality watercolour paper.

Be prepared to go on a bit of a journey with this one!

Thursday 13 February 6-8pm

Create a linocut portrait of your pet.

In just 2 hours you will create a wonderful memento of your pet (or someone else’s).

You will learn how to transfer an image to lino, cut the lino and then create a black and white print using the printing press.

Saturday 22 February 2-4pm

Wednesday 19 March 2-4pm

Colour and shape monoprinting.

Using shape, colour and recycled materials you will create a series of colourful and very unique prints using the printing press.

Thursday 27 February 6-8pm

Collage is a very accessible artform. You need neither prior skills nor expensive tools. Anyone can do it anywhere they are. It is incredibly versatile and playful.

Create a collage each using the same surprise image plus a selection of other materials.

Such fun to see how we create so individually.
